Oh man, am I excited to share this post! This wedding is very near and dear to my heart as both Mary + Ed were my very first couple I photographed after being back from living in Cancun Mx. where I ran my destination wedding photography business with my sister for 3 years. What a great welcoming! When Samantha from Samantha Hall Events first told me about them and described their Nautical themed wedding I knew I was in for a treat! They chose the Portofino Hotel & Marina as the perfect setting for their themed wedding. To say that I loved their wedding is an understatement.
Love the Nautical themed wedding invites!
I was obsessed with the “Your my lobster” card that she used to write him a letter, in reference to the show Friends, which they both love to watch.
As I was witnessing it all, I could feel the waterworks come in from the excitement I had over their first look. It was exciting witnessing that special yet intimate moment between them.
Can you tell we had a little too much fun with the hotel lobby’s huge Jenga game!
Their ceremony decor was simple yet classy, and it was paired perfectly with the ocean view.
I could not resist taking so many photos of the flower girls as they were the cutest ever and they wore the most prettiest flower crowns from Of the Flowers
Ed, couldn’t hide the excitement from seeing his bride-to-be walk down the isle.
Lastly, they played this fun game that had everyone laughing out loud!
Over all, this wedding was sweet, fun, and loving. Mary and Ed had the best time and I am happy that I was able to reflect their happiness in these photos.
